PASAWIS base system conformed to test engineering requirements of VPI EMG-09 Edition 4.01 and approved by VPI. Robust inspection cart with four wheels with brakes, storage space for scanners, water connection and distribution, encoder distribution box, 230V power connection, PC with 24? touch screen monitor. Installed Pasawis wheelset inspection software and PaDaBum data analysis software. The test system is portable, but does not have its own power supply. Power connection (230V) and a running water connection or a water storage tank are necessary. The system is operated with Windows 10, 64-bit. System includes data acquisition unit: FOCUS PX high performance 16:64 pulser receiver (PR) phased array acquisition unit (Q7750034) and interconnection box for 4 PA probes with OmniScan Female connectors (Q7740010).
